HyperHEPA® Technology
The IQAir® HealthPro Series features HyperHEPA filtration technology for superior airborne particle removal. IQAir's HyperHEPA filtration is tested and certified to filter ultra-fine pollution particles down to 0.003 microns in size with a guaranteed minimum efficiency of over 99.5%. This is 100 times smaller than what is achieved with ordinary air filtration technology and 10 times smaller than a virus.

Ultra-Quiet Design

The IQAir HealthPro Plus has earned the influential, Parent Tested, Parent Approved (PTPA Media Inc.) Seal of Approval Award. In an independent series of tests conducted by actual parents, the HealthPro Plus gained the highest marks in effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and overall cost of ownership. “Manufacturers like IQAir are really trying to make a higher quality product for a more discerning consumer,” said Sharon Vinderine (president). Discovery Health
When the popular television series "Body Invaders: Allergies" by the Discovery Health channel set out to examine the world of air cleaning, their product reviewers announced on the air that the IQAir HealthPro Plus was the only air purifier they tested that would give a "0" (zero) reading on a ParticleScan test. This meant that their advanced testing equipment could find no particles escaping from the powerful HyperHEPA filtration of the HealthPro Plus.
Extreme Makeover “Home Edition”

The IQAir HealthPro Plus was rated the #1 air purifier by Wired Magazine, which reaches 2.1 million readers every month. In the September 2006 issue, Wired columnist Scott Taves tested a number of air purifiers with a laser particle counter and found that the IQAir HealthPro Plus "produced air that contained no particles 0.3 micron or larger (common allergens, germs, and most dust)." The IQAir HealthPro Plus passed Newsweek’s toughest test! Newsweek Magazine tested the HealthPro Plus and reported its findings in its April 5, 2005 issue: “We tested it in a basement that had been collecting dust for 20 years, and after two days, that musty smell was gone.”
Cigar Aficionado
We tested the GC MultiGas in less-than-laboratory, but smokier-than-average conditions in the Cigar Aficionado offices, and found it performed admirably under the strain. The unit quickly cleared smoke out of a small office, and soon after the traces of cigar were unnoticeable.
Stiftung Warentest

In 2006, and again in 2008, Esquire selected IQAir to provide their revolutionary whole-house air purification system, the Perfect 16. They chose the Perfect 16 because it exceeds MERV 16 - the highest level of filtration recognized by the American Society of Heating and Refrigeration Engineers (ASHRAE). The result is that the air in the home is virtually free of dust, pollen, allergens, and other indoor air pollutants.
Merv 16
The Perfect 16 is the first whole-house air cleaning system to achieve a MERV16 rating – the very highest MERV rating possible. MERV stands for Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value. The MERV rating system was designed by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), and it establishes how well an air filtration system cleans the air. The lowest MERV rating is 1, and the best potential MERV rating is 16. Until the Perfect 16, a MERV 16 rating was never achieved by a residential whole-house air cleaning system. This ultra-high level of air filtration efficiency had previously only been possible in hospitals and multi-million dollar cleanrooms. Now IQAir makes this level of filtration available in your home.
