Digital Display Function

The BlueAir® 650E Carbon SmokeStop comes with an easy to use remote control and a digital display system, which gives the user instant feedback with regard to particle detection, air purifier speed and timer operation. Not only can all of these various features be controlled via the remote, but the control panel display also reports on the quality of the air as well as smells in the room.

To achieve exceptionally quiet operation, BlueAir’s patented HEPASilent™ filter technology traps particles two ways: with mechanical and electrostatic filters. This combination creates a filter system through which air flows freely. Most air cleaners require a powerful, noisy fan to pull air through densely packed filters. Since air passes easily through BlueAir filter media, the fan doesn’t have to work as hard or as loud.

Blueair’s SurroundAir™ system achieves peak performance without annoying drafts by drawing in dirty air from the sides and bottom, moving it through a less dense filter media, and releasing clean, filtered air from the sides and top.

BlueAir replaces standard triclosan-coated paper or glass filter fibers, which can harm the environment when released into the waste stream, with safer, nontoxic polypropylene. This revolutionary filter media is one of the least harmful plastics, producing only carbon dioxide and water as it decomposes. Because polypropylene is waterproof, BlueAir filters naturally resist contamination from bacteria, viruses and mold, without the use of chemical additives or washes. BlueAir even uses a special powder coat finish that produces no chemical off-gassing.
